Why "Bullshit and Vanity"

I read something saying you should accompany your posts with a picture. So here is our kittycat.

All blogs are vanity projects, and this is no different. And as much as I want to write exhaustively researched dissections of sociopolitical issues, I don't have the time. And maybe I don't want to much either. So I'll prob be filling the gaps with bullshit.

But ideally the title won't just be self-deprecating. Bullshit and vanity describe vast segments of our elite culture. Maybe I won't be writing the exhaustively researched articles, but I probably won't have much criticism for them either. There are plenty of plump, ripe targets occupying positions of power and prestige, absolutely stuffed to the gills with bullshit and vanity.
